ADR inspections with the participation of Poles. We know the details of the activities of the Polish services


Polish inspectors took part in the activities on the first day, cooperating with services from many European countries. The whole thing was coordinated by the Dutch side, with the participation of inspectors, among others. from Germany, Czech Republic, Portugal, Luxembourg, France and Ireland.

The main goal was to increase the safety of the transport of dangerous goods and exchange experiences regarding the application of ADR regulations. Differences in the approach to detecting violations and qualifying non-compliance in individual countries were discussed. Practices related to imposing sanctions were also discussed, reports the Road Transport Inspectorate.

Particular attention was paid to the correct marking of vehicles carrying hazardous materials. Transport documentation was also checked and it must meet ADR requirements. The technical condition of tanks and tank containers was checked, which must meet certain safety standards.

Joint activities enabled direct exchange of knowledge on practical aspects of supervision over the transport of dangerous goods. The importance of harmonizing the approach to ADR control in Europe was highlighted. It was indicated that international cooperation increases the effectiveness of enforcement.
