Rapid's announcement about Cătălin Vulturar
“Injured in the shoulder in the match with Cluj University, Cătălin Vulturar carried out a series of investigations, as a result of which it was found that he suffered an acromio-clavicular disjunction.
The estimated duration of the recovery will be established in the next period. Good health and speedy recovery, Cătă!”, Rapid said on the club's Facebook page.
For Rapid, the matches against FC Argeș (April 13), Universitatea Craiova (19) and Dinamo (25) follow. Next month, they will play the last 4 stages of the play-off, with CFR Cluj, U Cluj, the second leg with Argeș and the second leg with Craiova.
If it's about the surgery, it's clear that we can't use him this season and he might miss the summer as well, but I hope he'll be better. Theoretically, the most optimistic version means 2 matches.

Bought by Rapid in 2024, Vulturar became a starter this season. He has 23 games in the Superliga this season, and since the end of February he has been in the starting lineup whenever he was available.
He played from the first minute in the derbies with Dinamo (2-1), Craiova (1-1), Dinamo (3-2), CFR Cluj (0-1) and U Cluj (1-2). In the game with the “students” he scored, then got injured and left in the 34th minute, being replaced by Hromada.
Vulturar was present at Mircea Lucescu's vigil together with his teammates from Rapid, with his hand in a splint at the National Arena.
