David Lazar, Hermannstadt's goalkeeper, declared himself excited afterwards the dramatic victory achieved with the Lighthousescore 1-0, in the fourth stage of the Superleague play-out.
Author of some incredible interventions, Lazar was declared man-of-the-match in Sibiu. Hermannstadt's goalkeeper said that it is a dream to play at home, in the Sibiu team. In the flash-interview, he also spoke about Rafael Munteanu, the goalkeeper from Farul.
David Lazar: “We must win the next match as well, the play-out is short, we need points”
“It's something sensational, I'm very happy for the 3 points. It was played openly, any team could win. We believed until the end and it worked out for us today.
I remained calm, I knew that the balance could be balanced, we also had new opportunities. Their goalkeeper, Munteanu, played a sensational match, I see a bright future for him.
We must win the next match, the play-out is short, we need points. It's a dream to be at home, to play for my hometown team. I'm glad that I'm close to the family”, said David Lazar, on Digi Sport 1.
Lazar arrived at Hermannstadt in the winter, from FC Argeș, in exchange for Cătălin Căbuz. The goalkeeper played 8 games in League 1 for the Transylvanian team. He kept the wicket intact 3 times. After the victory with Farul, Dorinel Munteanu's team has 18 points and is two lengths behind the first team over the line, Csikszereda.
