PAOK sent 4 people to Mircea Lucescu's funeral after players were banned from attending

PAOK Thessaloniki, the club where Răzvan Lucescu trains, sent a delegation of 4 people to Bucharest to attend his funeral Mircea Lucescu, passed away on TuesdayApril 7, due to health problems.
The legendary coach and footballer will be buried today, April 10, at the Bellu Cemetery in Bucharest, after the funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Sfântul Elefterie Church.
The past few days, wreaths were laid at Mircea Lucescu's catafalque by PAOK and the club's owner, Ivan Savvidis, and the management's wish was that some of the important people from the organizational chart should be physically present at the funeral.

Thus, the Greek publication Metrosport writes that four people from the club came to Bucharest to be with Răzvan Lucescu. The delegation consists of CEO Maria Goncharova, technical director Christos Karipidis, advisor Vieirinha, and Răzvan's “second” Pantelis Konstantinidis.
We remind you that PAOK's players also expressed their desire to travel to Bucharest, however the coach asked them to stay in Thessaloniki and to continue preparations for the match against AEK, scheduled for next Sunday, April 19. The black and whites also scheduled a training session today.
