A criminal case was opened in Krasnoyarsk after a report of a girl being injured after being hit by an electric scooter.
The regional investigative department of the Russian Investigative Committee explained that they learned about the incident from media monitoring. Let us remind you that the traffic police reported that on April 7, a 16-year-old boy, driving an electric scooter, on the avenue named after the newspaper “Krasnoyarsk worker» hit a 19-year-old girl. She was injured.

“Based on this fact, the investigative department for the Kirov district of the city of Krasnoyarsk of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 268 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of rules ensuring the safe operation of transport)», — explained in the press service.
Currently, investigators are carrying out the necessary investigative actions aimed at clarifying all the circumstances of the incident.
The police previously reported that an administrative protocol was drawn up against the boy under Part 2 of Art. 12.30 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation of the Traffic Rules by a pedestrian or other road user, resulting in interference with the movement of vehicles or causing minor or moderate harm to the health of the victim.” In addition, the victim has the right to demand compensation for treatment costs and moral damages.
