Some Russians will receive pensions for May early in April due to the approaching May holidays; early payment will affect everyone to whom funds are transferred through the bank, the press service of the Social Fund of the Russian Federation told RIA Novosti.
“In connection with the approaching May holidays, some Russian pensioners will receive their May pensions ahead of schedule. Early payment will affect everyone to whom funds are transferred through the bank. Post offices will deliver payments to pensioners according to the usual schedule,” the message said.
It is clarified that by April 30, pensioners who usually receive their pensions through the bank from the first to the fourth of the month will receive payments for May.
Early payment will affect all types of pensions, including insurance, social, funded, old-age and disability pensions. There is no need to submit an application for early payment. The funds will come automatically.
According to the press service, if other Social Fund payments come along with the pension, they will also be transferred to the account ahead of schedule. Delivery of pensions through banks will resume according to the standard schedule from May 5.
Pensioners to whom payments are delivered by Russian Post will receive money for May on their usual dates. Postmen will begin delivering pensions to your home on May 2-3. From the same time it will be possible to receive a pension at the post office cash desk. Delivery of pensions by mail will last until May 25.
