In Krasnoyarsk, security forces detained two members of an organized group suspected of illegally re-registering garage boxes and reselling them.
It has been previously established that the 21-year-old and 31-year-old attackers have been engaged in criminal activities since 2024.
“Men found garages that had not been used by anyone for a long time, and watched to see if the owners would appear. Then they changed the locks on them and took other people’s things out of there, forged documents on membership in the garage cooperative and fraudulently registered ownership. When the documents were brought into compliance, the defendants re-registered the garages in the names of friends and sold them. They divided the proceeds equally. In total, the criminals appropriated and re-registered more than 50 garages in different areas of Krasnoyarsk. According to preliminary data, the damage amounted to about 15 million rubles. During searches at the places of residence of the detainees, documents confirming their criminal activities were seized,” the Main Directorate said.
