The expert emphasizes that drivers should not expect a one-time, large price drop. The changes will take place in stages.
Analysts: the first reductions in fuel prices may occur in the coming days
According to Reflex forecasts, these reductions may amount to: from 10 to 20 gr per liter per day, which can bring significant relief to consumers in a short time.
Recently, diesel prices have been rising much faster than gasoline prices. Now the trend may be reversed.
According to analysts diesel will become cheaper more dynamically, which should be especially visible at gas stations. At the same time, the risk of exceeding the level of PLN 8 per liter, which experts feared until recently, has receded.
The declines may also cover autogas. Although LPG is not included in the government regulatory package, its price responds to the situation on the global energy market.

Fuel prices may go down. However, nothing is certain
They also influence the price level national regulations as part of the “Lower Fuel Prices” package. It assumes, among others: tax reduction and introduction of maximum fuel prices published by the state administration.
According to the current guidelines, the maximum prices are to be approximately PLN 6.27 per liter of EU95 petrol, PLN 6.88 for EU98 petrol and PLN 7.83 for diesel oil.
As Reflex analysts note, An additional factor favoring reductions is the strengthening of the Polish zloty. Poland imports a significant part of LPG, so the exchange rate has a direct impact on the prices of this fuel.
Experts emphasize that future fuel prices will largely depend on the durability of the ceasefire and the results of talks between the US and Iran. If the geopolitical situation remains stable, drivers can count on further gradual reductions. Otherwise, the market may react with increases again.
