Donald Trump is “the only one” who knows “what he will do” in Iran, his spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said on Tuesday, a few hours before the expiration of the ultimatum that the US president gave to Tehran, reports AFP.
“The Iranian regime has until 8:00 p.m. Washington to seize the opportunity and strike a deal with the United States. Only the president alone knows where we stand and what he will do,” said Karoline Leavitt.
The spokeswoman's comment was sent in response to two different questions addressed to the White House, which France Presse asked, on the one hand, to specify whether Donald Trump intends to use the nuclear weapon in Iran and, on the other hand, to react to media reports that Tehran has cut off all communication channels with the United States.
