In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police detained a drunk driver with shooting

In the Kazachinsko-Pirovsky district, police used their service weapons to detain a persistent traffic violator. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
Local residents called the duty station and said that a man was driving around the village in a Neva without license plates. Information about this was passed on to the traffic police crew; after noticing the offender’s car, traffic inspectors tried to stop it. But the man ignored the lawful demands of the police and increased his speed.
In order to catch the offender, law enforcement officers were forced to use their service weapons. Only after several warning shots did the driver stop the car.
“The driver was a 37-year-old local resident who had never had the right to drive a vehicle. An examination for intoxication established that the man was drunk – the device showed 0.82 mg/l of ethanol vapor in the exhaled air,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
A number of administrative materials were drawn up against the offender: for driving while intoxicated (Part 3 of Article 12.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), failure to comply with the requirement to stop (Part 2 of Article 12.25 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), disobedience to a lawful order of a police officer (19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), the driver’s lack of a compulsory motor liability insurance policy (Part 2 of Article 12.37 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) RF).
Now the man is in a room for administrative detainees, his car was placed in a special parking lot.
