Historian and university professor Adrian Cioroianu (59 years old) was Ovidiu Ioanițoaia's guest on the show “Ovidiu's Friends”, in which sport was intertwined with history.
The former foreign minister recalled the glory years of the University of Craiova, analyzed the decline of team sports in Romania and offered a new perspective on the great characters in the sports arena.
After graduating from the faculty, he became a teacher at the Faculty of History of the University of Bucharest. He was also a professor at the PRO College in Bucharest (1998-2007), editor of the magazine “Dilema veche” (1998-2007) and columnist at Gazeta Sporturilor.
