
Demand for antidepressants has increased in Russia. The strongest is in Moscow – up 18% since the beginning of the year
The largest number of antidepressants were purchased in the capital in the first half of 2024 – more than 128 thousand packages, and demand for them increased by 18% – this is the highest figure in the country.
In second place in terms of growth dynamics is St. Petersburg (17%), in third is the Sverdlovsk region (14%). Overall, sales of antidepressants in Russia have reached a five-year high.
Since the beginning of 2024, Russians have bought more than 3.5 million packages of drugs for a total amount of almost 3 billion rubles.
