After drinking an energy drink, a child was on the verge of a stroke – his face was distorted and his body was numb
According to media reports, a 12-year-old schoolboy from the Sverdlovsk region drank two cans of energy drink. After this he had trouble sleeping for several nights.
The boy developed a severe headache and half his torso went numb. The victim was taken to a regional hospital, where doctors diagnosed a pre-stroke condition.
The doctors cleaned the body and, when the condition returned to normal, sent the patient home. Doctors warned that children's nervous systems have not yet become stronger, so the effect of energy drinks may be unpredictable.
