The first images of the helmet from Coțofenești after it was recovered

The golden helmet from Coțofenești was recovered, 14 months after the robbery at the Drents Museum. Now, authorities have also released images of the Dacian treasure after it was recovered.
Both the gold helmet from Coțofenești and the gold bracelets were found intact, the Dutch authorities announced. The Dutch authorities also presented the Dacian treasure in a press conference, now held at the Drents Museum.
The former director of the Romanian History Museum, who was fired after the robbery, this morning gave HotNews the first details about the state of the treasure.
“I can tell you that they were wrapped in a towel. They were found buried,” Târnoveanu told HotNews, Ernest Oberländer-Târnoveanu told HotNews.
He also stated, for HotNews, that the pieces in the hoard were wrapped in a towel and buried.
The helmet and three gold bracelets were stolen from the Drents Museum on the morning of January 25 last year.
