Rospotrebnadzor ordered the store to return money to the Minusinsk schoolchild for an unused certificate

Specialists from Krasnoyarsk Rospotrebnadzor helped a schoolboy from Minusinsk return money for an unused gift card.
The department's press service said that schoolchildren from one of the Minusinsk schools received gift certificates from the parent committee. One of the students could not find anything suitable for himself from the presented goods in a local store. Together with his parents, he decided to exchange a certificate with a face value of 300 rubles for money.
“According to the child’s mother, the store sellers refused to carry out the exchange, citing the fact that the certificate was purchased by another person. Specialists from the Rospotrebnadzor Office helped find a solution to this “task” – they assisted in drawing up a claim for violation of consumer rights,” the department explained.
After filing a complaint, the store owner returned the cost of the gift certificate to the student.
