The appointment of Roberto De Zerbi instead of Igor Tudor as manager of Tottenham brings bad news for Radu Drăgușin. The 24-year-old central defender would be completely out of the coach's plans, along with two midfielders from the London team, who could not fit the Italian's style at all.
Spurs are fighting to save themselves from relegation and have already landed on their third manager this season, after Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor, with the former Marseille coach brought into despair. Roberto De Zerbi would not give him the chances that Radu Drăgușin had when there were no key players from Tottenham's defense.

Roberto De Zerbi has been persuaded to sign a contract until 2031 with Spurs, for an annual salary of 14 million euros. De Zerbi may not like the players Spurs have at their disposal.
“Radu Drăgușin will never be able to play for a top club, as he is so weak when he has the ball at his feet!”
The English press writes that, regardless of the system in which De Zerbi will play, there are three footballers who will remain outside his plans. Here are three players he will definitely not appreciate after his arrival at the club: Radu Drăgușin, Palhinha and Connor Gallagher:
“Although he played in Serie A when Roberto De Zerbi was coaching Sassuolo, Drăgușin never got many minutes, being a failed promise at Juventus.

Only later did he stand out at Genoa, and his problem, which Spurs quickly discovered, is that he can never play for a top club as he is so weak with the ball.
Drăgușin is a decent, hard-working defender, but De Zerbi will immediately remove him from the calculations in a system that emphasizes security of possession and progression.”
