The car of former Communist Party deputy Valery Rashkin hit a moose. In the same places where in October 2021, a tipsy communist was detained with a dead elk in the trunk.
The accident occurred on the morning of August 23. The animal ran across the roadway – exactly at the moment when a Lada Largus was driving there. The driver and four passengers of the car were not injured; previously, the Rashkins themselves were not in the car. The car is listed at the Saratov regional branch of the party.
It was in this car that the ex-deputy transported the carcass of a killed elk almost three years ago (on video). After this, he was sentenced to three years probation – prohibited from hunting and deprived of his deputy mandate. And Vladimir Zhirinovsky at a meeting of the State Duma promised to offer Rashkin a reference book on zoology. In May 2024, the conviction was cleared.
