Historic flight! Nika Prevc set a new world record in ski jumping

Nika Prevc (21 years old), triple world champion, set the new ski jumping world record, 242.5 meters. She managed the performance at an official training on the trampoline in Planica.
In the first leg, 3 competitors crossed the 200-meter threshold, the longest jump belonging to Nika Prevc, who landed at 213 meters.

But in the second training series, she flew to a world record distance: 242.5 meters. The first Ponce Valley Girls Flying Competition will be held on Saturday.

The crowd of thousands at the base of the trampoline was stunned and excited.
“I have never felt better. Planica is something special. From the first training jump I had excellent sensations. After the second jump, I can only say this: a perfect day,” said Prevc, according to siol.net.

Nika Prevc is the world champion from 2024, 2025 and 2026. She debuted in 2022 at the highest level. At the Olympic Games in Milan Cortina won gold in the team, mixed event. He also won a silver and a bronze in Italy.
