Ciprian Ciucu announces that the inventory of the capital's heritage is starting: “We can't stay like this anymore, because the city is falling on us”

The Capital City Hall announces that the city's heritage will be inventoried and that, for the first time in the last 35 years, there will be a unique database of buildings, land and garages owned or managed.
The City Hall of the Capital says that there are thousands of houses, yards, garages, lands and spaces with other uses, and the mayor Ciprian Ciucu ordered the establishment of a team of people from several institutions involved in the real estate fund. They will establish what state they are in, what legal status they have, how these properties can be saved and capitalized.
According to the cited source, the buildings and lands will be identified, mapped, analyzed and evaluated functionally, economically and technically, and by mid-July there will be a “complete picture”.
“Today we establish the principles and the way of working. We need to find out what buildings we have, what is their physical and legal condition, if there are disputes, what area they have. Then we decide how to save them, how to capitalize on them, to reintroduce them into the economic circuit to give them back to society. Some will enter consolidation programs, others we can rehabilitate in partnerships with the private sector, others we concession or rent. But we can't stay like this anymore, because they fall the city on us”, says the general mayor of the Capital, Ciprian Ciucu, quoted by News.ro.
