Two brothers stole a car and set it on fire in the west of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (video)

Police detained cousins, 22 and 29 years old, suspected of car theft and arson in the west of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The crime was committed on March 22. It was established that two previously convicted young people arrived in the evening from the village of Krasnaya Sopka to Nazarovo, where they drank alcohol in one of the local cafes. After the holiday, the relatives discovered that they had neither money nor transport to return home. In one of the courtyards they noticed a VAZ-21053 parked and decided to use it.

“The attackers easily started the car – one of them already had a criminal record for theft – and moved towards Krasnaya Sopka. There the younger brother left and went home, and the older brother drove towards neighboring Uzhur to hide traces of the crime. Having arrived at his destination, he drained the gasoline, set the car on fire and walked home,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
