The role of the national supply chain in the energy transformation was discussed during the “Enea. With energy for Polish business – Suppliers' Day” event, which took place on March 26 in Poznań as part of the EnergyON Summit.

The meeting gathered representatives of companies interested in cooperation with the group and was the next stage of Enea's activities in the area of the so-called local content, i.e. increasing the participation of Polish enterprises in the implementation of investments.
Enea's announcement: dialogue with the market and project transparency
The company emphasizes that it wants to the largest share in these projects went to domestic contractors.
During the event, key investment projects of the group companies were presented, including: Enea Operator, Enea Nowa Energia and Enea Centrum. Areas in which domestic companies can play an important role were also indicated.
– With such an ambitious investment program, it is crucial not only what projects we implement, but also whether the market has the conditions to participate in them – emphasized Jarosław Tokarczuk, Enea's management board representative for local content.
The company develops tools to facilitate cooperation with suppliers, including: electronic purchasing platform, which is the main channel of communication and access to tenders.

One of the elements that increases transparency is publication of a list of approximately 140 planned investment projects. The document is publicly available and is intended to be updated regularly.
In the future, it will become part of an extensive platform for suppliers, enabling companies to prepare in advance to participate in investments – both in terms of organization and competences.
An impulse for the region
During the debate “Local content as an impulse for regional development”, the importance of energy investments for the local economy was emphasized.
— The development of large projects should translate into a permanent strengthening of the region's economic potential – noted Jacek Bogusławski from the board of the Greater Poland Voivodeship.
The local government declares support for entrepreneurs, including: through financial instruments, cooperation with universities and dialogue with business.
Enea emphasizes that implementing an investment of this scale requires not only capital and technology, but also a well-prepared executive base.
