The mayor of Krasnoyarsk named the approximate time frame for restoring water supply in the Sverdlovsk region

Utility workers have begun replacing the pipe at the scene of the accident in the Sverdlovsk district of Krasnoyarsk. According to the head of the city, Sergei Vereshchagin, the work is planned to be completed by 14:00, however, due to the flushing of the networks, the water supply will be normalized by the evening.

Let us remind you that on March 25, in the Sverdlovsk district of Krasnoyarsk, an accident occurred in the water supply networks. Due to spring soil movements, cast iron pipes split in two places at once – on the streets of Borisevich and 60 Let Oktyabrya.

More than 50 houses on the right bank are experiencing water problems. In 10 high-rise buildings and a number of private houses there is none at all. Among them are houses on 60 years of October, 2 and 2a, Meditsinsky Lane, Sverdlovskaya, 6d, 6e, 6i, as well as the private sector on Sayanskaya and Podgornaya. In the rest, including the large Tikhie Zori microdistrict, the pressure is low and the water does not reach the upper floors.

Water was pumped out of the pit all night and 10 pieces of equipment were working. Now the utility workers have begun installing a new section of the water pipeline to replace the worn one.

During the day, water delivery is organized for residents. The situation is under the control of the mayor's office.
