KGHM improves profitability. The company showed results for 2025.

As the company announced in a statement on Wednesday, net profit amounted to over PLN 3.68 billion, which means an improvement of 28%. year to year.

Higher profits than a year earlier
According to the consolidated annual report, KGHM achieved exactly PLN 3.688 billion of net profit in 2025. For comparison, in the same period of 2024 it was PLN 2.870 billion.
The operating result is also noteworthy EBITDA, which reached PLN 10.3 billionwhich means an increase of 22%. year to year.
As emphasized in the company's announcement 48 percent EBITDA profit was generated by foreign assets.

President of KGHM on stable foundations for the future
The president of the management board of KGHM Polska Miedź, Remigiusz Paszkiewicz, pointed out that last year was a year for the company “a period of further strengthening of the position on the global raw materials market and a significant increase in shareholder value”.
He also emphasized that, apart from the implementation of investments that had already been started, activities aimed at improving efficiency and better control of expenses were of great importance.
“In addition to the commenced investment projects, an important area of activity included initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and greater cost control. The Cost Optimization Program has brought measurable results and will be gradually implemented in the companies of the Capital Group. We plan to strengthen corporate governance in the Group and increase the business efficiency of subsidiaries” – says Paszkiewicz, quoted in the company's press release.
The president of KGHM also added that last year, KGHM's foreign entities achieved “financial independence in financing their operations”. He pointed out that “their ability to repay liabilities to Polska Miedź significantly strengthens our position on the global raw material market. This is confirmed by KGHM's promotion to the group of the 50 best valued mining companies in the world“.
