Oman has not been removed from the travel warning list; we still warn: this is too close to war, emphasized the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, on Wednesday. Maciej Wewiór, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the ministry's warnings regarding travel to or through a number of Middle Eastern countries have not changed.

Sikorski was asked at Wednesday's press conference about reports that some travel agencies are offering trips to Oman again, despite the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' recommendations not to go there.
The head of Polish diplomacy noted that Poland considers Egypt – apart from some of its regions – to be a safe country for tourists. However, as he added, Oman has not been removed from the warning list. – We still warn: this is too close to war. There were attacks, if I am not mistaken, on the port in Oman – noted the minister.
He emphasized that the Polish government, on the one hand, wants to continue helping Polish citizens, but on the other hand, wants them to behave responsibly.
Maciej Wewiór, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, added that Ministry data shows that there are signals that tourist and transfer hubs in the Middle East are filling up again. Therefore, as he emphasized, the ministry will “boost” previously issued warnings against traveling to countries in this region on its social media.
At the beginning of March, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a number of warnings advising compatriots against all travel, including: to Oman, as well as to many other countries in the Middle East.
