Today, a tender was announced on the electronic public procurement platform to find a contractor for the development of design estimates for the improvement of Theater Square in Krasnoyarsk and the modernization of the light and music fountain. Each object is offered as a separate lot, the customer of the work is MAU Krasgorpark.

As the mayor's office said, the contractor will be provided with previously developed concepts for the improvement of one of the city's iconic public spaces. In addition, it must take into account the existing features of Theater Square, provide seating areas, the location of the stage and the placement of small architectural forms.
The winning bidder will also have to develop a landscaping scheme. Electrical networks must be “hidden” underground, and new video surveillance facilities must be integrated into the “Safe City” system. The project should also plan for festive illumination with different operating modes.
“The fountain on Teatralnaya Square is one of the attractions of Krasnoyarsk. The requirements for its updated appearance must be appropriate. The terms of reference stipulate that the contractor first develops at least three variants of sketches, including video visualization with the operating modes of the fountain, and then technical support. The jets and contours of the object should be illuminated, and the control system should consist of several modes, including “show”,” — said the director of UIA Krasgorpark Eduard Weckesser.
The winning bidder will have to develop design and estimate documentation within 6 months from the date of conclusion of the contract.
The mayor's office noted that the renovation of Theater Square will be carried out in preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. The competitive procedures will take place in two stages. The first is the presentation of draft works; a commission will evaluate the visual solutions, which includes the chief architect of Krasnoyarsk, specialists from the department of social development and Krasgorpark, as well as city council deputies. At the second stage, the company’s experience, the proposed amount and other parameters required for the procedure will be assessed.
