In 2026, major repairs of two power units, ongoing repairs of seven units, as well as renewal of intra-station heating networks and pipelines are planned at Krasnoyarsk GRES-2.
This work is part of a large program to modernize gas cleaning equipment with an investment of 2 billion rubles. By 2030, gas treatment units will be replaced at all 18 boilers of the plant, which will significantly reduce the impact on the environment.
The program for updating the gas cleaning equipment at Krasnoyarsk State District Power Plant-2 started last year. At power unit No. 7, battery cyclones (BCCs) that capture solid particles from flue gases were replaced. This year, similar measures will be carried out at the boilers of the 6th and 4th power units.
In addition to environmental modernization, work will be carried out at Krasnoyarskaya GRES-2 to improve equipment reliability. It is planned to replace components and repair the station's heating networks.
At power unit No. 5, the generator and relay protection and automation circuit will be replaced. The work is planned to be completed in 2027. The Novosibirsk plant of NPO ELSIB has already launched production of a new generator and auxiliary equipment; tests are scheduled for the second quarter.
Re-equipment of the power unit will increase the reliability of the main electrical equipment. New live steam pipelines will soon appear at power unit No. 9 – the completion date is scheduled for autumn 2026. In addition, the station’s heating networks—pipelines, network heaters, shut-off and control valves—will be repaired in the summer.
Large-scale work is also underway at the Nazarovo State District Power Plant. Modernization of the gas cleaning equipment of the station until 2032 with an investment volume of about 3.3 billion rubles will allow reducing emissions of suspended particles by 47.2%. The environmental agenda is synchronized with increasing the overall reliability of the plant. In 2026 alone, SGK will allocate over 3.1 billion rubles to implement the repair and investment programs of the Nazarovskaya GRES.
Let us remind you that the enterprises of the Siberian Generating Company play a key role in ensuring the energy balance of Siberia. Thus, according to the results of last year, electricity generation at Nazarovskaya GRES increased by 17%, at Krasnoyarsk GRES-2 – by 9%. Given the increase in workload, SGK pays great attention to the implementation of repair programs and timely updating of equipment, while simultaneously introducing advanced standards of environmental responsibility.
