Governor Mikhail Kotyukov met with volunteers in Krasnoyarsk and thanked the SVO participants for their help

The regional humanitarian center of United Russia celebrates the fourth anniversary of its activities. It was created even before the start of a special military operation – volunteers collected help for residents of Donbass who were in temporary accommodation centers.

From the first days of the North Military District, the center reorganized its work to support the front. On average, every 10–11 days a new truck with things, food and equipment necessary for the soldiers leaves the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov met with the volunteers to personally thank them. Since February 2022, they have been collecting and delivering aid to fighters in the Northern Military District zone – weaving nets, repairing cars, sewing clothes and preparing food packages. Social activists told the head of the region about the work done and shared their plans.

The head of the regional humanitarian center of United Russia, Inna Rychkova, summed up the results of four years of activity and emphasized: the entire region is helping the front. Schoolchildren, work teams and ordinary residents create with their own hands what saves lives.

“When we started this work, we didn’t even think what awaited us. Not only our guys in the combat zone are tired, but also the volunteers. But strength is found and taken from those residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory who join our volunteer ranks. These are very kind, proactive, sympathetic people who every day bring the common Victory closer,” noted Inna Rychkova.

Thus, Lyudmila Ilyinykh from the volunteer group “ZOV Solnechny” opened three points for weaving camouflage nets in two years. The oldest volunteer was a 92-year-old woman who survived the Great Patriotic War. She inspires dozens of people with her example. Activists have long stopped counting the number of networks they have created: they work not for show, but to save fighters.

Stanislav Savchuk from the Avtovzvod movement told how volunteers give a second life to old cars. The vehicles are received, repaired in service centers and transferred to the front line. There, every piece of equipment counts—they transport cargo and evacuate the wounded.

“You are the ones who are willing to take on more than could be expected. Remember: our cause is just – we will definitely win. The more people we can attract to this, the more friendly, stronger and more durable we will be. “I thank you for these four years of faithful service to the Motherland, for real plowing, which today makes a significant contribution to the results of our soldiers,” Mikhail Kotyukov addressed the volunteers.

The governor presented letters of gratitude to the community members. Among the awarded are leaders and participants of the movements “ZaMasking”, “Defenders of Krasnoyarsk”, “Siberian Spiders”, “Military Cooks”, “Craftsmen of the Front”, “ZOV Kedrovy +”, “Sew for Ours”, “Golden Hands of an Angel” and others.

A new batch of humanitarian aid will leave in the coming days. Volunteers collected equipment, special equipment, protective equipment, medicines and equipment. Over the four years of operation of the regional humanitarian center, 126 heavy trucks were delivered to the special operation zone – more than 2 thousand tons of cargo with a total value of over 450 million rubles.

Not only military personnel, but also residents of the sponsored territory regularly receive assistance. Particular attention is paid to children of the Sverdlovsk district of the LPR. By September 1, they are provided with office supplies, clothing and briefcases; on the eve of the summer holidays, they donate art kits, sports equipment, and games. Special cargo is sent to sports schools, school camps and other institutions organizing children's leisure.

Let us remind you that the regional humanitarian aid collection center has been operating since February 2022. The organization cooperates with 48 volunteer associations of the region, transporting their products to the special operation zone. At the initiative of the center, patronage assistance to individual units of the RF Armed Forces is also being developed.
