In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a drunk driver was fined for insulting his own lawyer. The regional prosecutor's office spoke about this.
In August 2025, in Zaozernoye, traffic police inspectors stopped a car with a drunk driver at the wheel. It turned out that this was not the first time for him – the man had previously been charged with drunk driving. Repeated violation resulted in criminal charges.

The state provided the suspect with a free lawyer. At the police station, when they were studying the case materials together, the defendant suddenly lost his temper. In the presence of a witness, he attacked the lawyer with coarse obscene language.
The defender refused further work and turned to law enforcement agencies. Since the investigation of insults falls within the competence of the prosecutor, the supervisory agency conducted an inspection, collected evidence and opened an administrative case. The court imposed a fine on the violator.
Meanwhile, the criminal case of repeated drunk driving is being considered in the Rybinsk District Court.
