Context
The previous round of trilateral negotiations between Ukraine, the United States and the aggressor country of the Russian Federation took place in Geneva in February, the next meeting was originally planned at the beginning of March, as Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky reported, during March 5–9 in Abu Dhabi (UAE), however due to the military operation that Israel and the United States launched against Iran on February 28, negotiations had to be postponed. Later, the media reported that the next round could be held on March 11 in Istanbul, but this too was postponed due to the priority attention of the American side to the situation around Iran.
After this, Zelensky noted that the meeting could take place next week (March 9–15), however, it was also postponed at the request of the American side.
