The Middle East is boiling. A series of attacks on American targets in Baghdad

— Eight separate attacks carried out until dawn using missiles and drones targeted the US airport center, an unnamed senior Iraqi internal security official told AFP. “Several rockets fell near the base,” he added.
Tension in the Middle East is not decreasing
A second official mentioned at least six attacks. According to a police source, a vehicle with a rocket launcher was found in the Al-Jihad district, near the airport. Pro-Iranian armed groups in Iraq claimed responsibility for the nightly attacks.
Iran's IRNA news agency reported on Sunday that the target of the drone attack was a military base near Baghdad International Airport.
Israel and the US launched airstrikes on Iran on February 28. Tehran responded with retaliatory attacks on Israel and several countries in the Persian Gulf region, hitting both American bases and civilian facilities located there. In Iraq, targets have already been targeted, among others: US Embassy in Baghdad.
