Chechen athletes who did not compete for Russia at the Olympics were given apartments
Kadyrov’s son and Chechen Sports Minister Akhmat Kadyrov congratulated the wrestlers “on their brilliant performance at the Games.” Razambek Zhamalov brought the Uzbekistan national team a gold medal, and Islam Dudayev became a bronze medalist as part of the Albanian national team.
The wrestlers were given the keys to the apartments, and Zhamalov received an additional 10 million rubles as the winner of the Olympics.
