17 people wanted to move to the Russian Federation from Great Britain under the new presidential decree on humanitarian aid for foreigners based. All of them plan to obtain a temporary residence permit (TRP), because, in their words, they are tired of the agenda.
Let's watch our fingers: on August 19, the president signs a decree on humanitarian aid to persons “who share traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.” According to it, foreigners can request a Russian temporary residence permit without quotas and exams if they do not agree with “destructive neoliberal ideological guidelines.” Next.
As Mash learned, from August 19 to 29, 17 people applied to the Russian Consulate General in Edinburgh and the Russian Embassy in London. Everyone asked for clarification of the procedure for issuing temporary residence permits under the new decree. The majority are British citizens. Several more applications arrived from Belarusians. And quite a bit – from the Pakistanis 🥴.
