Road workers will overhaul the last section of the Uzhur Bypass highway, replacing the crushed stone surface with asphalt concrete. The contractor was determined based on the results of the competition, the winner is NBS-Sibir LLC. The work will take place within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.
During work on the section from 4 to 9 kilometers – from the turn towards Uzhur and along the tracks to the railway crossing, specialists must pour layers of road pavement – this alone will require 31.3 thousand cubic meters of material. Road workers will also have to clean ditches, install a drainage system with the laying of new culverts and lay an asphalt concrete surface.
In addition, the contractor will install lighting near the railroad crossing, new barrier fencing, and road signs. Repairs on the last section of the popular route will cost the budget 459.3 million rubles.
KrUDor reported that the facility must be completed by the end of October 2026. The contract with the contractor will be signed in March, after which information boards will be immediately installed on the site.
Let us remind you that the repair of the Uzhur Bypass road started several years ago. In 2023–2024, specialists put the first 3 kilometers of the route in order, and in 2025 they restored the section from 9 to 13 kilometers – from the railway crossing to the exit to the main highway in the area of the village of Sukhaya Dolina.
Repair of the section from 4 to 9 kilometers will be the final link in the reconstruction.
In total, according to the national project, work is planned this year on 59 objects of the regional road network. It is planned to restore 168 kilometers of road surfaces and put into operation 250 linear meters of bridge structures. The total cost of work to date is about 8.4 billion rubles.
