If you're struggling with what to cook for dinner and don't want to waste time on complicated recipes, canned fish cutlets will be a real lifesaver. There is no need to look for fresh fish, fiddle with bones, or stand at the stove for more than fifteen minutes.
Ingredients:
canned saury or pink salmon in its own juice – 1 can (240–250 g)
egg – 1 pc.
onions – ½ pcs.
breadcrumbs or semolina – 3-4 tbsp. l.
salt, black pepper, herbs – to taste
vegetable oil for frying
Preparation:
- Drain the liquid from the jar and mash the fish with a fork until smooth. Their bones do not need to be removed, they are soft and completely kneaded.
- Finely chop or grate the onion and add to the fish.
- Beat in the egg, add crackers or semolina, salt and pepper, add herbs. Mix well, the mass should hold its shape.
- Form small cutlets.
- Fry in a frying pan with oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve hot with lemon, yogurt or a simple vegetable salad.
Bon appetit!
