Medical aviation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory evacuated a crew member of a nuclear icebreaker, which was in the Kara Sea 260 kilometers from the village of Dikson. The only way to get to the ship was by air.
Doctors from the Taimyr Interdistrict Hospital flew from Dudinka on a Mi-8 ambulance helicopter to respond to the call. At the meeting point, they were joined by a Mi-8 search and rescue helicopter, which delivered the doctors directly on board the icebreaker.

Specialists provided the man with the necessary assistance, after which he was evacuated first to Norilsk and then to the regional clinical hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment.
As the publication gornovosti.ru writes, the regional hospital does not disclose the exact diagnosis – this is a medical secret. But they emphasize that emergency assistance was required, and it was impossible to provide it in the conditions of the ship, reports.
