Parents of schoolchildren bought smart watches en masse for their little ones before the First of September.

In total, during this period, almost 40% of all watches, smart speakers, laptops and light bulbs with brains sold for the entire month were bought. Moreover, in the last week, 30% of sales came from speakers, 20% from smart watches, and more than a third of sales from children's smart watches. But the demand for laptops during the last month of summer was relatively uniform: the last 10 days of August accounted for 12% of sales of the total. Naturally, everything was bought for study.
