Today, starting at 11:00, the General Assembly of the Romanian Football Federation will take place at Casa Fotbalului, during which the president of the forum that leads Romanian football will be voted on. There are two candidates in the race for the post of president: the current boss, Răzvan Burleanu, who is the favorite to win the fourth term, and Ilie Drăgan, the founder and president of the 3 Kids Sport club;

The latter appealed to the TAS, to reject Burleanu's candidacy and suspend the elections, accusing him of violating the regulation that provides for only three mandates;

TAS initially rejected his claimand the elections will take place as they were originally established, with their result subsequently being analyzed in Laussane;

Also on Wednesday there will be elections for other key positions in the FRF.
Big favorite, Burleanu would win his fourth term, after those of 2014/2018, 2018/2022 and 2022/2026.
