Former midfielder Sorin Paraschiv (44 years old) was hired as sports director at FC Bihor Oradea, a club in the second league play-off.
After finishing his football career, in which he won two titles with FCSB and was part of the team that reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup – the current Europa League -, Sorin Paraschiv followed the path of sports management.
He was president or sports director at several clubs, the most notable at Academica Clinceni and Chindia Târgoviște, and this morning presented at second division FC Bihor Oradea.

“FC Bihor Oradea is taking a new important step in consolidating the sports project. We continue to build organized, with the right people and with a clear direction.
Sorin Paraschiv is, officially, the new Sports Director of FC Bihor Oradea. His experience and vision will contribute to the development of a professional framework and to the increase of the club's performance level”, the club from Oradea said.
FC Bihor also announced that Ioan Hora (37 years old), striker with 9 goals for the team in this championship, “chose to continue his career in football and from an administrative perspective, enrolling in sports director courses”.
FC Bihor starts the play-off with 39 points, 5 below Sepsi OSK, 14 below Corvinul Hunedoara, as many as the other 3 teams in the group.
