The Ministry of Emergency Situations told which districts in the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be the first to suffer from the spring flood.
In the first wave – the 3rd ten days of March – the 1st ten days of April – flooding and flooding of low-lying areas, erosion of roads, bridges, dams on ponds and small reservoirs from slope runoff and overflow of small rivers are expected. The most dangerous in this regard are the territories of Bogotolsky, Emelyanovsky, Ermakovsky, Kozulsky, Kuraginsky, Minusinsky Sharypovsky, Shushensky, Uzhursky municipal districts.
The second wave – the 3rd ten days of April – the 1st ten days of June – a period of active snowmelt in the foothills and mountain taiga regions of the Sayans, opening of large rivers: the Yenisei, Angara. The main danger of the period is a significant rise in water levels in rivers and flooding, flooding of populated areas and economic facilities falling into the flooding and flooding zone, powerful ice jams on large rivers, and the threat of destruction of protective hydraulic structures.
The most vulnerable to the passage of the second wave of flood are Balakhtinsko-Novoselovsky, Birilyussky, Emelyanovsky, Yenisei, Ermakovsky, Irbeysko-Sayansky, Karatuzsky, Kuraginsky, Minusinsky, North Yenisei, Turukhansky, Evenkiy municipal districts.
The risk of rain floods is possible in Achinsky, Balakhtinsko-Novoselovsky, Birillyusky, Emelyanovsky, Ermakovsky, Irbeysko-Sayansky, Kansky, Karatuzsky, Kozulsky, Mansko-Uyarsky, Minusinsky, Motyginsky, Uzhursky, Shushensky municipal districts, the cities of Krasnoyarsk and Zheleznogorsk.
Spring flood levels are expected to be above normal:
- by 1.0-1.5 m on the river. Yenisei on the section of the city of Yeniseisk – the village of Podkamennaya Tunguska;
- by 0.2-0.9 m in the area with. Verkhneimbatsk – village Guard;
- by 0.6 m on the river. Kang, Shim;
- by 0.3 m on the river. Tuba, Big Pete;
- by 0.1 m on the river. Chulym near the village. Balakhta.
Maximum levels are expected to be close to normal on the rivers Velmo, Podkamennaya Tunguska, and Nizhnyaya Tunguska. Below normal maximum levels are expected on the Kan rivers – by 0.3 m and Taseyevo – by 0.7 m.
When the peak of the flood passes, levels can reach dangerous values and exceed them on the Yenisei near the village of Vorogovo and on the Kas River near the village of Aleksandrovsky Shlyuz.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory clarifies that the forecast is preliminary.
