Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov inspected the renovated hangar complex at Krasnoyarsk International Airport. The facility has been overhauled and is now ready for commissioning.
Previously, this section of the hangar was not insulated, and in winter it was practically not used. Aircraft had to be transported to other regions for maintenance. Now all work can be carried out on site.

As the head of the region noted, this will reduce the downtime of aircraft, reduce the cost of their maintenance and increase the regularity of air traffic. In addition, modernization makes the airport attractive for new routes.
The hangar was reconstructed taking into account modern requirements – it is suitable for working with different types of aircraft. They plan to place a maintenance and repair center in the updated part. This will give the region new high-tech jobs for aviation industry specialists.
