Hezbollah claims to have launched a “sophisticated missile” against Israel / And Iran announces the use of a new type of ballistic missile – VIDEO

The Lebanese Hezbollah group said on Sunday that it had hit the Palmachim air base in central Israel with a “sophisticated missile”, a country that has launched a vast campaign of airstrikes against Lebanon, reports AFP.
In a statement, the pro-Iranian Shiite group said the targeted airbase, located south of Tel Aviv, “is 140 kilometers from the border” between Lebanon and Israel.
Hezbollah also claimed responsibility for a series of attacks against targets in northern Israel, as well as Israeli troops entering Lebanese territory near the border.
Iran claims to have launched a new type of ballistic missile at Israel
State television and Iranian press agencies, which aired a propaganda video of the Revolutionary Guards, reported on Sunday the use of a new type of ammunition in the conflict: Sejil missiles, reports News.ro.
This type of medium-range ballistic missile can cover a distance between 2,000 and 2,500 kilometers.
First put into service in 2014, a single missile of this type would cost about $500,000.
