Air defense shot down 58 missiles and more than 400 drones overnight

On the night of March 14, the army of the aggressor country, Russia, hit Ukraine with 498 missiles and drones. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Telegram.

The occupiers released throughout Ukraine:

  • two Zircon anti-ship missiles (from occupied Crimea);
  • 13 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles (from the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation);
  • 25 Kalibr cruise missiles (from the Black and Caspian Seas);
  • 24 Kh-101 cruise missiles (from the Vologda region);
  • four X-59/69 guided aircraft missiles (from Kursk and the occupied part of the Donetsk region of Ukraine;
  • 430 attack UAVs of the Shahed, “Gerbera”, “Italmas” type and drones of other types (from Crimea, Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Smolensk, Rostov regions and Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation).

As of 9.00, units of radio-electronic and unmanned systems and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 58 missiles and 402 UAVs.

Six missiles and 28 attack drones were hit, and debris fell in another seven places. Information about the four Russian missiles is being clarified.
