EVALI is acute pulmonary injury caused by e-cigarette use. The study of the disease slowed down with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic due to the similarity of the symptoms caused, and its detection rate stopped growing, which, however, does not reduce its danger to vaping users.
Unlike coronavirus, one of the first symptoms of EVALI is considered to be a violation of the human digestive system, the ministry clarified.
