Gloria Bistrița and CSM Bucharest respected their status and achieved two victories in the Florilor League on Thursday, March 12, continuing the fight for the national title. On Monday, March 16, at 17:30, the two teams will meet in the Capital in a match that can be decisive in the race for the title.

After the break intended for the national team games, the Flower League resumed with two extremely important games, in which the best teams in the championship were engaged: Gloria Bistrita vs. Rapid Bucharest and SCM U Craiova vs. CSM Bucharest.

Gloria Bistrița, dominant in the second half of the confrontation with Rapid Bucharest

Playing at home, in the TeraPlast Arena, Gloria Bistrița dominated the duel with Rapid Bucharest, who kept pace with her opponent for only one half. After returning from the locker room, the hosts controlled the game, took advantage of the multiple two-minute eliminations from the opposing camp and put on a show.

In the last minutes, amid a relaxation of Gloria, Rapid reduced the difference, so the scoreboard showed the final score 29-26 in favor of Carlos Viver's band.

The best scorers of the winner were Danila So Delgado (8 goals) and Cristina Laslo (7 goals, 5 from 7 meters). Also, goalkeeper Renata De Arruda blocked Bistrita's goal very well and defended 12 of the guests' 29 shots, for a percentage of 41.4%.

On the other side, the leaders of Rapid were Estavana Polman (6 goals), Mariana Lopes (5 goals) and Djazz Chambertin (4 goals).

With two goalkeepers in great form, CSM Bucharest won on the field of SCM Craiova

A similar scenario was also in Craiova, where the Oltense players from SCM hoped to produce a surprise in front of CSM Bucharest. At halftime, the “tigresses” led by one goal, 14-13, but they broke free in the second half.

The hosts barely managed to find the way to the goal of the Romanian champion, who prevailed 29-22 and returned to the first position.

Crina Pintea, with 6 goals, was CSM Bucharest's best scorer, while Elizabeth Omoregie, Djurdjina Jaukovic and Trine Ostergaard had 5 goals each.

Gabriela Moreschi had a pass percentage of 38.1% (8/21), surpassed by that of Evelina Eriksson, her colleague: 55.6% (10/18).

From the Craiova camp, Zeljka Nikolic, Francielle Gomes da Rocha and Valentina Blazevic stood out with 5 goals each.
