The physical trainer Thomas Neubert spoke for the first time about the separation from FCSB, after the arrival of the new coach Mirel Rădoi, who brought his own staff.
Mihai Stoica, the president of the board of directors of the champion, announced on Thursday the official separation from the German physical trainer, who is in his third term at the club. The last period spent at FCSB was also the longest, almost six years.

Neubert explained that the split happened naturally after the coaching change.
“I'm very well, thank you. I now clarify some situations. I left because a new coach came in. This is absolutely normal. Mirel came, I talked a little with him, I wish them a lot of luck and success in the future. He told me he came with his staff and that's normal, so I left.”
The physical trainer also wanted to clarify the statements of boss Gigi Becali, who had suggested that there might have been problems of professionalism.
“That's the second thing I'm clarifying. Gigi said that it was a situation where I behaved unprofessionally, that I didn't go to training. It is not true. I missed twice in two years of training, and then it was recovery training. I only went to the medical clinic during two practices. Otherwise, I was there all the time”, explained Neubert.

Thomas Neubert: “I don't know what happened recently”
Asked about the team's poor form of late, Neubert said he had no clear explanation.
“If I knew that… I don't know. 100% Elias Charalambous worked very well, 10-12-15-16 hours a day, 24 hours a day. He has been doing this for the past three years. It was a successful two years”, said Neubert, according to as.ro.

In the last term, the team managed to win the title of champion twice. Over time, Neubert worked at FCSB alongside coaches such as Laurențiu Reghecampf, Nicolae Dică, Bogdan Vintilă, Toni Petrea, Dinu Todoran, Edward Iordănescu, Leonard Strizu and Elias Charalambous.
I came with my staff. Thomas Neubert is not in the first team staff. I wanted to be followed by my staff everywhere I went. We didn't force teams to fire their people, just move them to other departments.
