The FCSB leadership confirmed the first move of the “Rădoi era”: “He's gone for good!”

Without anyone accusing him, the decisions of the last period and some statements made the physical trainer Thomas Neubert to be positioned as the culprit for the decline of the team. Mirel Rădoi, once installed in office, did not sit for the discussions and was excluded from the start, a clear sign that, from his assessment, he no longer needed the physical trainer who worked for the champion in recent years, preferring to collaborate with his staff.

Rădoi did not demand that the people from the old staff be fired, but only relocated to other departments at the club. However, Neubert will not stay at FCSB at all, as announced by MM Stoica.

“Thomas Neubert has left for good, I signed the termination of the contract”said the official of the red-blue team on Wednesday evening, on the show “Fotbal Show”, from Prima Sport. Starting from March 10, the physical repairer Horațiu Baciu will be the one who will take care of FCSB.

After announcing the termination of collaboration with Neubert, MM Stoica made a statement with interpretation. When he spoke about the premature injury of Denis Alibec, after only 7 minutes in the first match of the season, the Romanian Supercup, he did not want to find an explanation for what happened in the summer, considering that he is not advised to intervene over the work of the trainer.

“Denis Alibec was injured and then it was difficult not having minutes, he is a player who has to play match by match. He was not brought to play in Bîrligea's place, it was impossible to play both at the same time. The bad part is that they were both injured at the same time. Alibec was injured in the Supercup, in the 7th minute. Bîrligea had been injured before.

I don't have the knowledge of physical training to be able to reproach Neubert for something, I don't know that, I have no way to know, why should I lie?! I avoided finding out too much, I don't need to know them all, let everyone be the master of his area”, MM Stoica also said.

• The German physical trainer had three mandates at FCSB, in the periods 2012 – 2014, 2014 – 2015, 2020 – 2026. The last one was also the longest, of 6 years, during which FCSB became champion twice;

• Over time, the coaches with whom Thomas Neubert worked at FCSB were Laurentiu Reghecampf, Nicolae Dică, Bogdan Vintilă, Toni Petrea, Dinu Todoran, Edward Iordănescu, Leonard Strizu and Elias Charalambous.
