“I'm very well, thank you. I finished at the end of last season my work in Asia. There, the season starts in January and ends in December. I decided to look for a new project in Europe.
The experience was very good there, at a new club and a new project, we saved the team from relegation and reached the semifinals of the National Cup.
But I wanted to move on in my career and I think the decision to leave was the best at the time.
I had the chance to go to the Gulf a month ago and this week to go back to Europe with a team in the first league. However, the situation inside the club was not easy and I rejected the proposal. Maybe I'll wait for the start of the next season”, said Giovanni Costantino, according to digisport.ro.
Giovanni Costantino was a coach at FCU Craiova between October 2023 and February 2024, with whom he achieved 7 victories in 18 matches.
Between the experiences in Romania and Kyrgyzstan, Giovanni Costantino was briefly a coach at Petrocub Hîncești, but the Italian technician resigned after only 3 weeks, without playing an official match.
Throughout his career, the Italian technician trained the second team of FC Futura, was an assistant at Honved and Dunajska Streda, as well as at the Hungarian national team, and as a head coach he trained MTK Budapest, Casarano, Agia Napa, FCU Craiova, Petrocub and Bishkek City.
