On the eve of International Women's Day, a solemn ceremony of presenting state awards and regional insignia was held in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Governor Mikhail Kotyukov personally congratulated 33 women who have achieved high results in their profession and made a significant contribution to the development of the territories.
“Besides all the important and complex tasks, you also retain concern for your loved ones. About those who are close to you. You came from different parts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In every district, in every city, in every village, a lot depends on women today. Yes, our whole life rests on you,” Mikhail Kotyukov noted in his welcoming speech.
Among the recipients is Larisa Pishchur, an employee of SUEK-Krasnoyarsk, leading engineer of the energy department of the Borodino loading and transport department. By decree of the governor, she was awarded the honorary title “Honored Power Engineer of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.”
Larisa Valerianovna’s path into the profession cannot be called ordinary. After graduating from the Pedagogical Institute, she worked as a foreign language teacher in one of the schools in Borodino. However, in 2005, fate took a sharp turn: she came to the loading and transport department as a simple worker. Within a year, she mastered the profession of a computer operator, and then, thanks to perseverance and constant training from more experienced colleagues, she rose to the rank of leading engineer. Today Larisa Pishchur’s total experience in the industry is 21 years. As the energy engineer herself admits, this is the first such significant award in her career.

The emotions at the award ceremony were so strong that at the first moment the woman was even confused.
“I was nervous, I felt stressed, I couldn’t even smile when Mikhail Mikhailovich congratulated me and presented the award,” Larisa Valerianovna shares her experiences. “After the ceremony I came to my senses a little and calmed down. Of course, this is very pleasant, emotions are overwhelming!”
The high rank only added confidence that many years ago she had chosen the right path. With her example, Larisa Pishchur confirms a simple truth: you can learn and develop at any age and in any activity.
“To be honest, I never regretted that I radically changed my life and came into production. Thanks to my colleagues for recognizing my humble work. Congratulations to all women on a wonderful spring holiday! Let there be as many such pleasant moments in our lives as possible!” — Larisa Pishchur, Honored Power Engineer of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, congratulated her fellow countrymen.
