In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 9 km of roads that locals complained about will be repaired

In the Sosnovoborsky district near the village of Magansk, 9 km of roads about which local residents have complained will be repaired. This was reported by the KrUDor press service.

This year, regional road workers will tidy up two sections of regional highways leading to garden societies and popular tourist spots. The work will take place on the roads Magansk – Kamas – Sorokino station and Magansk – Beret – Urman as part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. 145.5 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget for repairs.

On the first section of the highway, the section from 10 to 17 kilometers, running along numerous SNT and the village of Sorokino, will be repaired. The contractor will eliminate subsidence of the subgrade, restore the road pavement, remove flooded areas and fill the crushed stone surface. They will also replace culverts, install barrier fencing and new signs.

In the direction Magansk – Beret – Urman, work will affect the first two kilometers – from the turn to SNT Maganskoye. Road workers will clear the right of way, eliminate heaps, lay new asphalt, strengthen roadsides, restore drainage and repair four pipes. The site is equipped with signal posts and signs.

The head of the department, Andrei Zhuravlev, explained that local residents often complained about the condition of these roads. On the highway near the village of Sorokino, multiple abysses and flooding were recorded after rains and floods. On the first kilometers of the road to Bereti, the asphalt was full of holes and cracks. Moreover, both routes connect dozens of garden societies with the district and regional centers, and also lead to recreation centers and a rafting site on the Mana. Both facilities are scheduled to be completed in September.

In total, this year, according to the national project, 59 regional network facilities will be repaired in the region – 168 kilometers of road surfaces and 250 linear meters of bridges. The total cost of the work exceeds 8.4 billion rubles.
