In the opinion of the Ukrainian head of state, anyone who has encountered attacks from Iran faces an extraordinary challenge – Shahed missiles, which are difficult to shoot down without the appropriate specialist knowledge and adequate weapons.

— Of course, any of our help will be possible only if it does not weaken our own security in Ukraine and that it is an investment in our diplomatic capabilities: we help defend against war those who help us, Ukraine, bring closer a dignified end to the war. We are working for peace and real security, said the president.

War in the Middle East. Shaheds attack US and Israeli troops

Earlier on Wednesday, CNN reported that US administration representatives admit that Iranian Shahed drones pose a greater threat than expected. It was emphasized that American air defense would not be able to intercept all of them.

On Monday, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said his country could send drone specialists to the Middle East and share their capabilities and expertise to help shoot down Iran's Shaheds if Kiev's partners help bring about a ceasefire in the war with Russia.

Sybiha emphasized that Ukraine's effectiveness in neutralizing Iranian Shahed drones has reached 90 percent, partly thanks to the use of domestically produced interceptor drones.
